Shaking
Shaking – the term stands for “shaking movements, repeated jolts of the ground”, but is also synonymous with feelings such as emotion, confusion and uncertainty. To be shaken therefore means to be strongly affected by something.
What shocks move us, have moved us? On a personal or political level? In the past or in the present? What interactions exist between the individual and society? We live in a world that is changing at breakneck speed. Social, political and economic certainties no longer exist.
In this year’s group exhibition, the artists of the FASB present a variety of photographic works that thematise and question the shocks we have experienced. The exhibition takes place as part of Schöneberger Art 2023.

The fallen are those who did not return, the dead who gave their lives for a cause. They usually took the lives of others in battle beforehand. A monument is erected in their memory. To the others on the other side. The pain remains in the stone and fuels the next war.
