The night is one of the most important motifs of Romanticism. I usually feel at peace during my nocturnal walks through the city, the forest and the countryside. The images that emerge sometimes have the potential to emphasise the irrational, just as the Romantic painters did, and to reveal the secrets of existence. An ambitious goal to strive for.
